Wonderful library. I highly recommend the guided tour! I took the 60 minute one, but would have loved to have taken the longer tour (includes the Radcliffe Camera but only available x1 or x2 a week).

If you have a lot of books to get from the lower Gladstone link, don't read down there! You're shut out and confined and you'll get depressed! Bring books up to the upper camera and it's lovely.

Map rooms and special collections now across the road in the Weston Library. Possible to get occasional guided tours of the Bodleian itself.

The Magical Books exhibit is ending on Oct. 27. It houses original drawing and first editions by J.K. Rowling, J.R.R. Tolkien, and C.S. Lewis among others. Worth a visit!
